€55 million to support research and innovation among Lazio businesses

The Lazio Region supports experimental development projects in strategic technology value chains aligned with the regional Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3) and the EU STEP initiative. The scheme aims to strengthen the competitiveness and innovation capacity of Lazio SMEs by fostering collaboration with large enterprises and research organisations.

Type of call

Non-repayable grants awarded through a competitive selection procedure. Funding supports individual or collaborative experimental development projects coordinated within strategic technology value chains.

Eligible applicants

SMEs based in Lazio undertaking individual or collaborative projects with other enterprises and research organisations. Large enterprises and research organisations in Lazio may act as coordinating entities for project groups. Beneficiaries must carry out at least 80% of project staff activities at operational sites located in Lazio.
